Is there a better way to start the week than a pizza in a real Italian restaurant?
This time, we went with a group of colleagues to "La pizza è bella", an Italian restaurant in Sablon. The pizza was awesome -in my opinion, even better than Paolo's Idea's one-, but what's really incredible was the dessert, apparently ordered directly from a famous Italian patissier.

Tuesday: normal day's work, followed by a series-night
On Wednesday, I had lunch with Dominique, my supervisor, and Astrid, the girl I will replace, who will stay until February to train me.
We went to -another- Italian restaurant in Machelen. I ordered some saltimbocca alla romana and then a tiramisu with Speculoos (the famous Belgian cinnamon cookies)
It's always hard to go back to work after a lunch that is anything but light.
The afternoon went slowly. Between the full belly and the fact that many were already on holiday, it started to feel like Christmas in the office too.
I left half hour earlier to go with Sony to Leuven, a small city 15 minutes far from Brussels, to visit the Christmas Market
We had a tour of the main square, where a few stands with food and the usual Christmas stalls had been pitched. A beautiful Ferris wheel and Christmas tree, but we got a little disappointed by the market itself. Then, we actually realized that the Christmas Market was actually somewhere else, and it was amazing. On a hill 100 meters far from the square tons of stands and bungalows, perfectly recreating the atmosphere of Santa Claus' village.
After the market, I went back home to make vin chaud with my flatmates. We boiled fruits in wine, adding then cinnamon and other spices. One of the last moments together before leaving for Christmas holidays.

Another lunch out on Thursday. This time with all the Lexus people who accepted my manager's invitation: we were about 25 people. We went for lunch in a burger place called BeBurger in Zaventem, 10 minutes distance from the office. It's since when I was in Australia that I hadn't eaten such a good burger!
And one more time, going back to work hasn't been that easy. But from the crowd at the vending machine I would say it's a feeling common to the majority.
After work, I went back home to pack my stuff, I ordered some shampoo and other stuff on Amazon (yes, I buy shampoo on Amazon) and tidy up my room before leaving.

Friday, there was basically no one in the office. And even those who were there, were already daydreaming about Christmas, and about holidays
I left work at 3 pm to go to the airport and to find the last presents (mostly chocolate) in order to catch a flight at 6 pm to go back home.
Finally Christmas has come.
